April's Symbols at Die Cuttin' Divas

Hello Friends,

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by!  Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I hope you will join us this week!

This Week's Challenge...
April's Symbols
Flowers (Daisies) and/or Bling (Diamonds)

Here is my Design Team project...
My daughter's birthday was during the month of April, so I know it is a special month. A dainty flower and my bling represents the canary diamond.

I used the following sketch.

I went with clean and simple, so I could use this new " Happy Wishes" die I just purchased. Dies are so much  easier than using my electronic cutting machines. Don't get me wrong...I still like my Cameo and Cricut because of all the options, but steel dies are quick and cut so clean.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "April's Symbolschallenge. The other design team members  sure do love flowers and bling. Be sure to check out the variety!

Thanks for stopping by!

Buzzz...Call Me! It's a Queen Bee Challenge

Hello Everyone! Happy Sunday!

Hubby and I went blueberry picking this morning. First time this season and I am looking forward to making some Blueberry Buckle (it is a coffee cake with fresh blueberries and a crumbly topping...yummy delicious).

About a week and half ago I was guest designer for Connie Can Crop and I decided to make another card for her monthly challenge...Queen Bee

This Stuffy Bee is by Treasure Box Designs and it was easily cut on my Cameo. Edges were inked in yellow or black. Aren't the pink hearts on his feet a cute addition!

Black skittles by Carri at DoubleClick.

This sentiment and doily die is from My Craft Spot (closed). The circle die is by MFT. Both were cut with my Cuttlebug.
Other Materials:
DCWV pattern paper ~ Lemon Flower stack
yellow, black, pink, grey, and white card stock
black ink ~ Versafine Black Onyx

You still have time! You have until midnight on Saturday, April 30th to link it up.
Connie will draw one random winner. The winner will not be based on skill or talent,
but based on just completing the challenge.

I sure hope you will join the challenge this month!

I cut the heart shaped earth on my Cameo and the file is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons ~ Peace, Love, Recycle.

This sentiment is from my new Lawn Fawn stamp set ~ Scripty Sayings. A couple skittles by DoubleClick on the end of each one.

Every Princess Needs a Crown

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday!

Today is my day to post at Miss Kate CuttablesBefore I share my daily post, I want to remind you there is a free file that you can download every day. YES! Every day a new and different one. Be sure to get yours today!

Here is my Design Team project...
Every princess needs a crown and a 10 year old definitely needs a pearl for each year she has ruled her household. Personalizing is just an extra touch to add a smile.

I used the Princess Crown which was super easy to cut on the Cameo. I cut it in three layers...grey, white, and pink. I added silver glitter glue to the center heart. Lastly, the stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Sweet Birthday Wishes set.

Miss Kate Cuttables has lots of files to choose from, so check out all the categories, bundles, and deals today!

Sports Treat Bags

Hello Friends,

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by even though my post have been a bit scarce lately!  Let's just say...there is never enough time to do everything you want or think you are going to be able to do.

Although this is a day late, I am still sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I am not a BIG sports fan (don't get me started on why!), but I hope you will join us!

This Week's Challenge...
Sports

Here is my Design Team project...
I got these sport treat bags from SVG Cutting Files. There are a few more in the set (tennis, basketball, and soccer), so you have plenty of choices!

This sports candy is perfect to fill each one.
Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "Sportschallenge. The other design team members are definitely busy playing golf, running a marathon, bowling a strike, or shooting some hoops at basketball. Be sure to play the game!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Boys Love Their Tractors

Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy April! Thanks for stopping by on this super Sunday. Our Spring Break Cruise was amazing (I am just getting back into the swing of things), Prom 2016 was last night at Epcot and everyone looked FABULOUS, and  next weekend is my daughter's 18th birthday. WOW! So much going on...sure keeps us busy!

I made this birthday card for a special country boy. He loves the farm and tractors.
I found the tractor at the Silhouette On-line store. Super easy to cut on the Cameo and assemble. The base card is 5.75 x 5.75, so the tractor is a good size. A few balloons to make it festive and kids love to see their names on a card.

Hope you have a great day...whatever you have planned!
